The South African Born Trumpeter as I like to call him Bra Hugh Ramopolo Masekela (born April 4, 1939) is a South African trumpeter, flugelhornist, cornetist, composer, and singer.
On comment about his performance at the inaugaration he said he owed his success to the wealth of South Africa and was eternally grateful to be born in this part of the world.
He will be performing at another function organised by the Commission of African-American Churches with an American band headed by the head of the Harvard University jazz band.
