RED SOLE LIFE CELEBRATES MAMA AFRICA

YES I am talking about Mama Miriam Makeba.In honour of this phenomenal woman on this special week which marks her Birthday week we Remember one of South Africa's Gifts. A Gift she was to the nation and worldwide. May her soul rest in peace.




A brief note on Miriam Makeba, also known as Mama Africa, was a Grammy Award-winning South African singer and civil rights activist. In the 1960s she was the first artist from Africa to popularize African music in the U.S. and around the world.
