THE WEEKEND GETS APPROVAL FROM SELENA GOMEZ'S MOTHER

Fresh off the tabloids, the Starboy hitmaker – real name Abel Tesfaye – is currently in a relationship with the 24-year-old singer, and after the pair attended the Met Gala together on Monday, 1 May 2017, Selena’s mother Mandy Teefy has said she is “happy” with their blossoming romance.
Abel, 27, posted a picture of the pair at the event on his Instagram account on Tuesday, and Mandy shared her thoughts in the form of a comment shortly after.

Posting the comment from her account, Mandy said: “Glowing, smiling, looking health and equal love. Mama is happy XO (sic)”.

Meanwhile it was previously claimed the Hands To Myself hitmaker – who was previously had a volatile four-year relationship with Justin Bieber – was impressed by how “mature” her new flame is.

A source said: “She feels very taken care of when she is with him, and like he will have her back. He’s a little bit older and more mature and she likes that about him.

“They can relate to each other on so many different levels; what they do for a living, music, being in the public eye. She just loves how he makes her feel on top of the world. He puts her on a pedestal and makes her feel like the most important and special girl in the world. That’s done wonders for her self-esteem and value. She has a confidence when she is with him and it’s been good for her.”

And friends of the former Disney star believe she is “crazy” in love with The Weekend.

The insider added: “Selena couldn’t be happier right now. She has fallen fast and hard for Abel. They can’t get enough of each other. When they are apart, they miss each other like crazy and can’t wait to reunite again. They FaceTime and text all day, every day.” My two cents: "This couple makes me so happy, don't you just love, LOVE God bless their partnership!!".

So 2017 has kicked off on an exciting start for the Carters. Superstar Beyoncé has stunned fans by revealing she is pregnant with twins, she and husband, Jay Z confirmed the happy news by posting baby bump selfie on Instagram.

The Halo hitmaker, who is married to rap legend Jay Z, took to Instagram on Wednesday, 1 February to share a picture of herself posing in a bra, panties, and a veil as she cradled her growing baby bump.

"We would like to share our love and happiness," she wrote in the caption. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."

The double bundle of joy will be siblings for Beyoncé and Jay Z's first child, daughter Blue Ivy, who turned five last month.

The pregnancy news comes less than a year after the super couple, which wed in 2008, was dogged by rumours of an impending divorce, after Beyoncé released her groundbreaking album and accompanying short film Lemonade, which detailed a relationship's ups and downs.

Many believed the emotional journey, about a cheating lover and a couple's subsequent reconciliation, was about the stars' own marriage, but the pair has never publicly addressed the speculation.

Jay Z and Beyoncé have been eager to expand their family for some time. After the 2012 birth of Blue Ivy, the rapper revealed the couple had previously suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, and Beyoncé went on to open up about their family plans in a 2013 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

She explained, "I definitely want another child ... It was important for me to do what I love and I love to perform and I love to make music, so I wanted to have my daughter and see if I was still as passionate.

"Maybe after this next tour I'll maybe have another baby."

This weekend I had the opportunity to dine at one of Johannesburg's most talked about restaurants, recently opened The Big Mouth. Located on Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton City The Big Mouth is a contemporary take on the classic diner infused with culinary influences and ingredients from around the globe.

Recently opened at Nelson Mandela Square in the pumping heart of Sandton The Big Mouth is a dining experience that you could easily find in a major city like New York, LA or London yet is still uniquely South African. Their menu varies from the freshest grilled seafood to gourmet burgers to a selection of world class sushi and TRUST ME their sushi is REMARKABLE!! I was totally blown away!!

I enjoyed the hospitality and the recommendations offered by the staff, they are so sincere and extraordinarily friendly. I will definately be making many trips back to this joint.
