This weekend I had the opportunity to dine at one of Johannesburg's most talked about restaurants, recently opened The Big Mouth. Located on Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton City The Big Mouth is a contemporary take on the classic diner infused with culinary influences and ingredients from around the globe.

Recently opened at Nelson Mandela Square in the pumping heart of Sandton The Big Mouth is a dining experience that you could easily find in a major city like New York, LA or London yet is still uniquely South African. Their menu varies from the freshest grilled seafood to gourmet burgers to a selection of world class sushi and TRUST ME their sushi is REMARKABLE!! I was totally blown away!!

I enjoyed the hospitality and the recommendations offered by the staff, they are so sincere and extraordinarily friendly. I will definately be making many trips back to this joint.

Thuli Madonsela is Forbes Africa Person of the Year!!

Former public protector Thuli Madonsela has been selected as the Forbes Africa Person of the Year for 2016

The ceremony took place in Kenya on Thursday evening. The former South African public protector is the sixth recipient of the award.

According to a media release by Forbes, Madonsela was selected as the winner due to her bravery "in her quest to bring inconsistencies to the fore".

Other nominees included Tanzania’s President John Pombe Magufuli‚ Mauritian President Ameenah Gurib‚ fellow South African and founder of Capitec Bank Michiel le Roux‚ and the people of Rwanda.

I am so grateful and thankful to have had a chance this phenomenal woman personally, what an honor and a privilege.

MOTIVATION MONDAY

Today: Walk and Live by Faith. Take the first step in faith you don't need to see the whole staircase, just keep moving. Remember God doesn't have to reveal "everything" to you all at once.
